Was fortunate to find a nice wootz karud at the show in Timonium. Pretty sure it has rhinocerous horn scales. Not fancy, a tribesman's weapon. Just wanted to share.

Pretty much everyone in Central Asian is a tribesman.
Clan affiliations are still real strong there.
It's is urban work from one of the fomer Khanates, probably
Bukhara. Looks lke rhino in the pics. Nice piece, congrats.

Thanks Gents,
It had a tag on it that said Bukharan dagger. Apparently it was one of the few ethnic pieces that was described correctly by the dealers other than Artzi and Jimmy.

You did real well at the show this year congrats. Btw was the dagger marked civil war or revolutionary war?
