I need to preface this by saying I know nothing of the languages of this region. So this may be a case of seeing what you are looking for. If I am wrong please correct me.
That said, something in this inscription was tugging at my memory from when I was researching rentcong. So I pulled out "Hands of Time" by Barbara Leigh. After looking at that I would like to propose that part of the inscription ( photo attached) MAY say Bismillahh - In the name of god the merciful and compassionate. Its not identical to the Aceh but its very close to my eye |

cool little knife.
The small square with 2 words over eachother is "Allah - Mohammed" The sentence: Hasbuna Allah wa ne'm alwakeel - Which means: "Allah is sufficient for us and he is THE protector/helper" |
