Hello Robert,

since no one from the experts give an opinion until now here the opinion from a non expert.
All what I have seen until now I would say that you are correct, it's a typical Luzon dagger from around 1900.
Your replacement from the silver wire seems a little bit to thin.
BTW, nice one!
