I bought this (not too old) Bali keris recently. I fell in love with its dapur. I believe it is called KEBO GIRI.
It's a really big one, measuring about 66 cm. I'm not sure, but could the pamor be Buntel Mayit ? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I'm not so sure that this blade can be classified as kebo giri, though it certainly is something in the "kebo" family. The kebo giri that i have seen all have the sekar kacang quite a bit further up the blade.
And yes, it does look like it might be pamor buntel mayat. |

Hans,
there is on Photpicnet of Ujung Galuh a keris with Pamor : Dwi Warna (Adeg & Pandan Iris) http://gallerykeris.fotopic.net/c1623160.html ..it nothing like this. I personaly think it is a Buntel Mayat..(Buntel Mayit is wrong name, as for as i know it). A pamor wel used on Bali keris, but there is a diffent name for it on bali.. unlucky i cant remember it. |
