Bali keris 1

I bought this (not too old) Bali keris recently. I fell in love with its dapur. I believe it is called KEBO GIRI.

It's a really big one, measuring about 66 cm.

I'm not sure, but could the pamor be Buntel Mayit ?

Yes, I believe it is Freddy; very nice keris .

I'm not so sure that this blade can be classified as kebo giri, though it certainly is something in the "kebo" family. The kebo giri that i have seen all have the sekar kacang quite a bit further up the blade.
And yes, it does look like it might be pamor buntel mayat.

the pamor looks more like iris pandan and not buntil mayit

Hans,

there is on Photpicnet of Ujung Galuh a keris with Pamor : Dwi Warna (Adeg & Pandan Iris) http://gallerykeris.fotopic.net/c1623160.html ..it nothing like this. I personaly think it is a Buntel Mayat..(Buntel Mayit is wrong name, as for as i know it). A pamor wel used on Bali keris, but there is a diffent name for it on bali.. unlucky i cant remember it.
