My only other acquisition from the show in Timonium. A polish and etch turned up a wootz pattern. No fancy decoration, just a nice solid piece.

Beautiful piece there of the classic katar, and Rick is right, a pattern that nice in a blade can be very addicting! Not surprised at the note on Lew noticing this, pre etch....... he has a distinct sense in discerning good pieces!! Looks like you did well at Timonium, congratulations.
