Java keris for comments old scabbard / new blade ?

I bought this keris from a picture on the web.

Now in hands I get the idea that the blade is not as old as the scabbard.
Any ideas / comments ?

I can see from the pictures, the warangka is not originated to the blade.
old silver pendok. your keris seem to be an old blade.
your close up pictures are blur. can you provide us more detailed pictures?

There is quite a difference in execution between the pecetans on either side of this blade .

The trouble with Javanese kerises is that there are so many "skillful" keris makers in Java & Madura. Most of the times, appraising the likely age of the keris by looking at pictures alone is almost an impossible task. This example looks like having an age, but at the same time my instinct tells me it's quite "young" but artificially aged, judging from the sorsoran and ricikan. But I cannot tell with absolute certainty

I lean towards Penangsang's opinion on this keris. I think it could be new with aggresive etching and aging applied.
