Hi Guys,
One friend brought me this kriss and asked me informations about it. The problem is that isn't a koummia but a kriss... So i can't say nothing about it, expect that it doesn't look old to me but it's very well done... Any idea? Thanks Best, Kubur |

Others will hopefully chime in with more details, but i would agree with your assessment that this is indeed a contemporary era keris. The pamor is complex, but i would say from these images that the execution is only fair. Other's might know better, but i am not sure this keris actually has a core, but i could be wrong. From what i can see i like the Surakarta gayaman dress with its fancy open work pendok.

All I can say is that I like it and that I certainly would like it in my collection.

Agree with David, the dress is much better as the blade, the pamor is nice but the execution of the blade....

Another example.
I don't believe this one has a core. |
