Hi Guys,

One friend brought me this kriss and asked me informations about it.
The problem is that isn't a koummia but a kriss...
:)
So i can't say nothing about it, expect that it doesn't look old to me but it's very well done...
Any idea?
Thanks

Best,
Kubur

Others will hopefully chime in with more details, but i would agree with your assessment that this is indeed a contemporary era keris. The pamor is complex, but i would say from these images that the execution is only fair. Other's might know better, but i am not sure this keris actually has a core, but i could be wrong. From what i can see i like the Surakarta gayaman dress with its fancy open work pendok.

All I can say is that I like it and that I certainly would like it in my collection.

Agree with David, the dress is much better as the blade, the pamor is nice but the execution of the blade....

Detlef

Another example.
I don't believe this one has a core.
