Hi guys,
This little knife finished on eBay recently, I was outbid. Did anyone here win it? I am curious to know if anyone has seen anything like it. It was listed as Indian. Cheers - Russel |

They usually have ivory hilts, there a long thread on here somewhere about them....
They could be Assam, Burma {Which I always favoured.} or North African. ![]() The scabbard with yours looks more Algerian or some such to my eye. Blade looks reshaped perhaps to fit that scabbard? Spiral |

Thanks Spiral, and sorry for the delay in responding.
I can certainly see the similarities in bolster design and tang arrangement. The blade shape and truncated point seem to indicate a simple utility knife. Thanks again, Russel |
