Default Tulwar for comment

Got this rather nice piece from a car boot sale along with a kukri, both for under £20 ( pays to get up early on Sundays .The sword I think is of good manufacture and has a date or armours mark near the hilt. The blade is marked with the eye lash and tri dot grouping. Usual queastions, Where? and when? Overall length 84cm, blade 76cm, 26cm false edge. The weapon came with its black leather scabbard. The bottom picture shows another old warhorse, can someone tell me where this type of flatter quillons originates or is the style common right across India? Thanks
