Translation Help For a Persian Qama/Kindjal
Here is a very attractive Persian qama/kindjal I picked up recently. There are inscriptions in Arabic script(but likely Farsi?) to both the outside upper (mouth) mount and the forte of the blade.
I would be most grateful for any assistance in translating those two areas. Thanks in advance! Dimensions: Overall length: 31.25in. Blade length: 23.5in. Blade width at its widest point: just under 2in. Last edited by CharlesS; 17th December 2016 at 12:38 PM. |
