Mysterious markings on dha or daab sword

Hello
Seeking help on deciphering this strange marking on Ricardo of an antique dha sword. There is also an odd little round bump on the spine. Anyone seen anything similar?

All I said was I had my doubts. I did not mention that this sword was put together to deceive etc I could not place it and so stayed away. It might well be a unique gem and that's fine by me.

In a honest world I'd go for oddballs for sure. But in a world where dealers and other dodgy folk interfere with pieces to add value and make a quick buck it's a hard no from me I'm afraid....
