Could anyone help me with this sword please? Is it an army wakizashi or ......? To me it seems to be a frequently used one and not of a collectors item quality. However I'm anxious to learn more...

The blade is 9 inches long and yeah perhaps I've been mislead by the gemstones on mendak and pendok to call it Bali. As for the hilt I will give it a try....
