Being offered to me. What is it? :confused: Blade has crosshatch markings, iron rings on both ends of the hilt. Rattan wrap with pitch. Any ideas?

Kino, this reminds me of a Bagobo variant of utility knife. Wish I had pictures of the other puppy for comparison.

Maybe inspired by an Panabas/Tabas blade?

The hilt seems to resemble a Yakan Pira though...
