Powder flasks for id
I've attached a few photos of powder flask and bullet container from my collection,

Top left a patch box or cartridge box. I'd guess North Africa, Morocco or Algeria, but it could be Ottoman. Top right a Greek or Balkan 'Palaskas' Patch/cartridge box.
Bottom LEFT flask looks Moroccan again to me, but a good one. Bottom RIGHT not so sure, relatively average 'touristy' N.African type I'd guess. Last edited by Atlantia; 29th January 2012 at 07:10 PM. Reason: Doh! I apparently don't know left from right! LOL |

Salaams ~ The top left looks like Turkoman as it is typical in the deign using silver and gilding(or brass?) in the split palmette pattern with glass or coral beads...
