Nice find, vary rare, Its an Afghan made kukri carrying the Afghan army property stamp. Any scabbard with it?
Made in 1312 a.h., or 1894/95 a.d. I think. I know of 5 in the world including this one. Only 3 are marked though. One I have, One in USA, one in Oz & 2 in Russia ,with one of them in Russia belonging to an ex.special forces Colonel who picked it out in the last farce inacted out there. Funnily enough my was brought out of Afghanistan, this time round by an American special forces chap. Spiral |
