Default Igorot Spear End Repair

Greetings folks,

Here is my first attempt at forging steel: I got this Igorot falfeg spear last year and it was missing the tapered steel end. So I made one and hear are my results. Not perfect, but an attempt.

Oh.....I also put a patina on the steel bottom as well.

One other note, the spear head and collar was covered in a layer of rust with a layer of black paint on top of that. So I took those off but tried to keep as much of the black/brown patina as possible.

Great results with the metal end.
Try googling building a forge, should not be difficult for you. I would think more difficult to source the coal.
