Default Celtic short sword?

Gents,
Will be glad to hear your opinions on this beauty, found in the south of Russia.
Am I correct to assume that it's a celtic short sword?
P.S. It's not my find so I can't be sure that it's authentic.

It has the appearance of a Celtic form but I would add only that if authentic, it has been abused in its attempt at cleaning or conservation.

Cheers
