Thumbs up Massim sword club.

Something rather nice that I could not let pass me bye. This is large as can be seen in the pictures. The smaller clubs would normally be seen as large. This club wieghs 2.545kg. That is heavy and even a huge warrior would have great difficulty swinging it around in a controlled manner. Clearly who ever carries it is a "big man" with great prestige and wealth. However this does not mean it is not used as a weapon. Like all heavy weapons in history they perform certain tasks. When the right opportunity arose this club could crash through the top of your head to where it sits on your shoulders like taking the top off an soft boiled egg, looks nice too! I admire the masterly touch to the scrolls around the handle, the spike like flicks add so much vigour. I am also very lucky getting a collection of snake decorated Massim items.

"Massim" is an interesting construct. The links provide great background and really are worth reading.
