Atjeh Rentjong with Gold
For swap an nice Atjeh rentjong with laminated blade looking for items from Borneo .
An little goldpiece missing and little damage to the scabbard as you can see in the pic . If you don't have anything from Borneo and still want the rentjong you can always make me an offer at sarawak@live.nl . Ben |

Hi Willem things better now at home and your work .
If something to expensive for you it looks you get a little bit frustrated after you did not get the sikim . I see scabbard on both . I cannot do something on that I give more money for things like you the same for the dajak shield you could buy for me you had it in your hands and had to ask at home for to buy . And I buy direct when I see it. Ben Last edited by Dajak; 1st December 2008 at 05:53 AM. |

Ben,
I was just wondering why this specific rentjong was for sale exactely a year ago on the fair in Utrecht, without scabbard and without a provenance. With the missing piece of gold it was and still is very recognisable. As for the Sikim (will be sold as 1 set with the rentjong), which you claimed to have swapped with me on the forum http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...ighlight=sikim On e-mail you than came back on your words and wanted something additional to swap for the sikim. Having nothing at hand you said to keep the sikim separate for me to be swapped in due time. And when I suggested a swap last month, the sikim was already gone . (the sikim from the set, not be sold separate ) Anyway, Ben. Nothing to do with money or what a person can or can not buy. Nothing to do with your impulsivity to buy and sell any item. More about reliability / honesty, such things, of greater value than money. |

At first this not the same as the one in Utrecht .
Second I wait long enough with the sikim and make you many offers didn t hear anything from you . (you did not have stuff for the 2 at that moment you telling but we now that that was not true) Third about honest you sold an sword to Stefan that I was first sending email long before Stefan and you sold it . Telling I was to late . So I suggest Willem go see some one soon because it getting worse with you. Ben |

An that is besides the fact that you backed out on our initial swap deal. You make up stories same as you made/make up provenances. You prey on the greed that is often inherent to collecting. It's sad. Quote:
Do you want the address ? |

Or did I fake the Nieuwenhuis Mandau the oldman jimpul the great Atjeh peduang and many other things . It is sad Willem for you that you so frustrated Have a nice life. Ben |

This rentjong was definately on a fair in utrecht last year without scabbard and without provenance. I was there for 2 days and seriously considered buying it. the horn hilt and the missing gold piece are 100% recognisable.
So you could have just replied that you did some investigation and found a provenance. Strange that instead of that you get both defensive/offensive and personal Maybe better to remain factual. 'can't beat the facts' as you say yourself |

Take it to email or PM, gentlemen.
You might also look into placing each other on your "ignore" lists. |
