Default Fresh from Afghanistan-Khyber sword knife

This Khyber was in an Afghan bazaar less than 3 weeks ago. Blade is 21 inches and there is a mark on both sides of the blade that looks like this
>---<. The line is solid and connected to the arrows though. It is too faint to photo. The AK was not in the shipment.

Cheers

Beautiful! I especially like the decorative coloration/etching on the hilt, which is somewhat reminscent of designs I've seen executed on the fancier choora in the past.

I love these weapons, there's just something about the balance of them, sepecially when you get a pair that more or less match so you have one in each hand. It also helps that these are one of the few 'ethnic' weapons that fit my hands!

So, do you have contacts over there that allow you access to such choice treats, or was it just a friend passing through?

Gorgeus Piece! I love it!

Few things can beat the feeling of a khyber/choora pair in one's hands...
