On December 15, 2008, HIMALAYAN IMPORTS sold a HI CHRISTMAS TIBETAN KATANA
(Sword) to: Person from Florida
Some days later we were contacted by BANK and informed that the VISA credit card number that he gave for the purchase of this item was "STOLEN", and the money would have to be returned back to VISA CARD.
We have "proof" that the Package was received at the BRADENTON,Florida address(confirmation from USPS).We have tried to contact the person via the phone number and email address with NO LUCK at ALL!

just thought i'd post this here as it is a nepali hand made sword that was stolen and someone here may see (or may have seen) it offered for sale. if anyone sees it, please let aunty yangdu know at:

This is a matter for the US Postal Service; mail fraud has been comitted which is a federal crime .

Besides, I think we get good visibility on Google. If this particular sword shows up on eBay or someplace similar, we need to get the evidence so that the authorities can act.

good news, yangdu has her sword back!

it was recovered & sent back to her by the usps postal inspectors after their investigation and action...

ariel, h*** must be frozen over.

p.s. - my dad was a US Postal Inspector, he was dedicated to hard work, honesty & service , and i'm glad in this instance, that service continues...
