Default Long Stiletto/dagger with bone handle

Picked up this interesting little gem.

32.5 cm. long very stiff symmetrical flattened diamond x-section blade. with some light patination, shallow ting pitting near the tip. 12 mm. wide at guard, 4 mm. thick, 2 cm. ricasso, very little, if any distal taper, completely unsharp 2+ mm. edge, last few cm. it starts to be sharpened to the stabby sharp point. Simple slightly tapered cross guard, 4 cm. floral embossed brass bolster with a braised seam, 9 cm. heavily carved bone grip, grooves all quite dark - dirt? no pommel. Obviously a stab-only weapon. balance point s 6 cm. from guard. No scabbard. Auction called it a 'vintage' bone handled short sword.

Any info as to suspected age/origin would be helpfull.

Almost 500 views and no comments, I guess no one else has seen anything like it either.
Nice letter opener?

No, terrible, 'edge' is way too thick, and blade is way too long. It's make a nice stiletto for use against very fat people. Pint is pointy and stabby. Might be good thing for parrying a slender light rapier, then poking back somewhere vital tho. Or a short 'Pillow' sword for unexpected things that go bump in the night, like two-legged wolves...
