An African piece ... i think
A 19 cms. blade.
The ricasso adorned in brass, and also the guard, if i can call it so. Also in brass is the pommel "complex". The inserts in the wooden handle are white, maybe silver, or not. Any coments on this piece, age and origin ? Thanks in advance fernando |

Hello Fernando,
This dagger shows a lot of Spanish influence to me. The brass coating at the forte, and the triangular lines in particular are seen everywhere Spain had a presence, from South-America to the Philippines. I like this one...could it have had a guard riveted where the holes are? Emanuel |

Certainly has Taureg / North African characteristics......the blade seems older..looks likely this is re-hilted.
