Unusual Balkan knife/yataghan
This looks to be a fairly modern item. The handles are aluminum and wood. The blade is marked "Consiple Extra". Does anyone know what that means?
I would appreciate any information on this item. n2s |

ive sene the exact same model of knife severla times. yes ive seen many bulgarian knives in this style, some larger like this karakulak and some smaller like a normal bichak.. also other cast aluminium factory mad eknives like bowies, daggers ect all with these cast handles and inlayed horn or wooden grips. there is many trench type or belt knives too some with metal stamped sheaths. like that used for a bayoney but many times thinner and ribbed.. and aluminium die cast and sand cast handles.. some alumnium handle ar epinned on too.. others have wood handles and aluminium guards and pommens peend on. these seem to have been made by a number of producers, probably makers of other iron and steel products, workshops or small makers of tools ect.. they are not "traditional craft knives" which are far more traditional looking. |
