Default initial opinion...

The sheath is the typical Javanese Wrangka Gayaman.
The hilt (ukiran) looks Sulawesi Bugis style.
The hilt cup looks like simplified brass Bugis cup. (Not original to the handle, though).
Correction: For keris blade...look at later posts...

Hello Scarroy,

This is a javanese keris from Solo. Dapur is probably indeed Tilam Upih. Pamor I'm not sure about. As mentioned replace the ukiran and the mendak for a javanese one from solo. Take a look at ebay. At the moment some ukirans with mendak are offered there. Searchword is keris. And keep this bugis ukiran, maybe as a replacement one day or as a seperate collectors item.

Hello Empu Kumis,

The wrangka is in my opinion a typical example for Solo. The blade is typical javanese. A blade from Jogya is mostly smaller, more delicate. That's why I think in this case the blade is from Solo too. The ukiran is typical bugis. The mandak was probably a bugis one too, but i don't know what happened with it.
