Strange little knife.
Bought this one a while back, have no idea if its some antique medical impliment, trench art, just a random assortment o pieces cleverly formed into a paperknife, or something more interesting.
The blade is pinned through the bronze, the steel is good quality, thin but very capable of stabbing. Any thoughts as always appreciated. It appears to have great age. |

I have to agree Freddy, a re-mounted spearhead, unfortunately the shape is universal, almost certainly from a throwing spear , I think alittle heavy for an arrow head. Perhaps an etch of the head may enlighten you as to its origins. I have a 'feeling' that its (the spearhead) Indian / SEA For a 'Bitsa' it does have some 'charm'. Is the 'handle' and 'crossguard' one-piece ? Can't help thinking the handle is from a 'beer' pump....but that maybe because I'm alittle thirsty Interesting item
