Hello!
I am looking for any crucible Damascus steel objects, preferably in poor condition for analysis and experiments. Ann http://moltenmuse.home.att.net http://www.aasti.us |

Some of you should have a look on this page, and maybe do some thinking. Ann is very qualified, can and will research your wepons, plus she will restore it to its former glory. Maybe some of you should contact her, to hear what she can do to your weapon/collection.

Ann, I have an old peshkabz that I believe is wootz. When he handled it, Rick suspected it might be false wootz, however.
I now have the impetus to re-etch a small section of the blade and see what there is to see. I'll report on my findings and, if indeed it is wootz, you are welcome to use it. Best, Andrew |

Thanks Andrew, I look forward to hear about your findings. I would also like to put information about different types of Damascus steel, such as false patterns. So that is also of great interest to me.
