Any specialist to identify this club, Beater ?..

I think I have seen this form of artefact described as an Indian ,Indian Ocean coconut hammer. I cannot be completely sure. However it would make as good a club as a beater or coconut smasher. I wonder which is harder to crack, somebodies head or a coconut?
