Здравствуйте, пополнил коллекцию новым мечем. С большим интересом изучил все темы на форуме которые были связанные с обсуждением Паранг Набур. Судя по классификации, которую любезно представил Amuk Murugul предполагаю, что меч можно отнести к типу Parang Panangkas or Parang Kemoedi Singkir.
Для меня эта тема новая, буду благодарен за любую информацию.

Hello, I have added a new sword to my collection. I studied with great interest all the topics on the forum that were related to the discussion of Parang Nabur. Judging by the classification kindly presented by Amuk Murugul, I assume that the sword can be classified as Parang Panangkas or Parang Kemoedi Singkir.
This topic is new to me, I would be grateful for any information.

Nice! I'm waiting on a far more budget version of one. Will post it at some point after it arrives. I really like these swords and how they combine Borneo and western influences. And there's quite a wide variety of interesting blade shapes.

Thanks for your comments. What can you say about the age of the sword?

I believe many of them are from the mid 19th century but beyond that I'm afraid I lack knowledge.

Yes, I also think so, that the second half of the 19th century, unfortunately, there is very little information on these swords.
