Identification of unusual knife in the news?
Photo taken in Raqqa, Syria, on June 30, 2014, shows an ISIL anti-aircraft gunner brandishing a large knife.
Knife appears to have a clipped point, sawtooth spine, blade pierced in decorative pattern in two places, metal crossguard, wooden hilt, metal pommel. Is this a recognized style or pattern with which anyone is familiar? |

Looks like the sort of big sword knives that come out of Pakistan. Some of these Pakistan made knives are really rather good. I bought this example for camping a lot smaller. There are big ones like the chap is holding. I do not care for the cut out macho look.

I suspect it would be quite efficient in murdering women and children.
My apologies for any ethnic slurs to ISIL, it was purely intentional. Rich |

Fantasy nonsense. Likely purchased from Bud-K or similar.
