Default WW2 Italian Officers Sword ?

I have what would appear to be in the style of an Italian WW2 Naval or Air Force Officer's Sword, and while the blade exhibits the Italian Crest and what appears to be the 1935-1943 Pilots Wings on it, the Guard is wrong as well as the decorations on the scabbard, which is also in the style of the Air Force or Naval Sheath.
Could this be post-war, a put-together, etc.: I can not find another example of this sword.

Hi Drack,

Try Matthew Forde: https://www.fordemilitaryantiques.com/

He just wrote a book on Italian swords and at the very least should be able to point you in the right direction.

Cheers
Bas
