Default Old whip with nice handle, origin ?

Hello dear members,
I received this large whip and wondered where it could come from ? Maybe Hungarian ?

It seems pretty old and has a nice wooden carved handle with metal inserts ( stylised folkloric flowers )
I tried it, it still sounds good
