Question Old Powder Flask. Ottoman?

A friend recently gave me this old powder flask - evidently it was an antique store find and no one had any info about it. I have learned a lot browsing here in the last few weeks.

I see where others have posted images of a similar flask of Ottoman origins. With my flask, one side is plain while the other side has decorations, including an eight-pointed star. My understanding is that an eight-pointed star has Ottoman/Palestinian/Islamic significance?

I appreciate any info about this flask's origins, age, and the meaning of the symbology/decorations. Thanks!

Just come across your post. I think this is of Moroccan origin, missing part of the spout. Search Forum for Moroccan flasks, but see here top row 4th from right.

Thanks for the info! There is quite a resemblance to the flask you pointed out that is from Morocco.
