Default Shield for comment

Hello all,
I picked up this shield recently, there was only one photo for the auction which showed the shield face on.
The description read as follows:

"Luzon (Phillipines) Headhunters Sheild
By the Kalinga People from central Luzon in the Philippines.
A headhunter's wooden shield."

Approx. 150cm / 59" tall, 28cm / 11" wide.

When I opened the package and saw the handle I am inclined to believe is more of a tourist item. Also there appear to be no major dings of any kind.

Any comments greatly appreciated.

thanks.

Well, it looks more like a Kalinga dance shield. The tourist ones look awful.
