Small tanto for sale, listed on a friends behalf. Shinshinto blade, nagasa 188mm. Worked in the Mino tradition, signed “Kanesada” C1780-1800. Nioi deki gunome hamon.hada is itame becoming masame near the mune. Mounted as a boys sword in a nice koshirae with silver fittings. Full white silk wrap with menuki of ken blades. Red lacquered saya with slot for kozuka (missing) and gilded shitodome in the horn kurikata. Please contact mogwai001@blueyonder.co.uk , Price £1000.
