Default Newly-made Tok Chu Keris with Kedah Sarung

Newly-made Tok Chu style blade in Kedah style sarung (Kedah is one of the northern states in penisular Malaysia.

Well, the blade doesn't seem to have some of the subtle and well execute ricikan one might expect to see in a real Tok Chu keris. Doesn't seem to be a bad blade over all, though my inclination would still be to see this as a Madurese copy of a classic Bugis form. The sheath is a bit clunky and does not seem to be a great copy of whatever your original model was. Might just be the angles that you photographed it from. Clearly Madurese wood work that would not fool the discriminating eye into thinking it actually came from Kedah.
