Welcome on board, Captain!
On the other hand, what are we going to do with yet another Kris Maniac?
Aren't there any Indian/Arabian sword lovers left in Great Britain?

Yes, yes, yes!
After 20 years on the couch I finally am out of the closet and admit to the world: I AM IT TOUCH WITH MY UNDULATING SELF! MY WRANGKA IS BIGGER THAN YOUR SARONG!
OK, boys, I just need another Valium and I shall be OK.....
Back to Shashkas.....

Don't mention dha! Dha are boring. Not worth collecting at all. Just interesting to talk about once in a while. In theory. Long distance. Without actually having any in your possession. They are evil, but we shall protect you from their corrosive influence by ridding the open market of all dha in order to keep them away from the unsuspecting public.

Welcome.

I second what Mark says. No experts here, not much known, stick to keris a wonderful extensive knowledge base here on keris. Dha bad! No dha! Keris Good! Yes keris!

Divide and conquer!
Leave the man alone, fiends! So what if he is interested in krises? He just wants to spend the rest of his life Tangguhing rusty twisted nails and learning mumbo-jumbo. That does not make him silly! Or does it?
In any case, Smash baby, welcome to the Zoo where all swords are above average.

Now wait just one second here! I say we need to start a supreme "Demonically Possessed Swords" thread, of which i am absolutely SURE the keris will win hands down.
Remember that recent thread on the eBay auction for "People Seeking Evil". It's a no-brainer.
So Capt., you REALLY should get rid of ALL your EVIL keris (i'll take 'em off your hands cheap! really!) and invest in some nice Moro-Indo-Ottoman Dha-like Shashkas. I understand they are all the collectors rage these days.

....hey where's the icon for that one-eyed smiley face anyway?!

Now there really is a simple solution as to what to collect, without having to deal with everyone elses subliminalal strategery. Simply send me all the swords you find, I will examine them for a few months, and a small fee. Afterwards I will send back the ones that are worthy of your collection, and dispose of the un-worthy ones for free Now, if you are also in the market for real-estate I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale...
