Default Old Manuscript

I bought this ages ago and never researched it. I was told that it is Ethiopian and has some sort of undefined magical properties. It is about 10 feet long, 4 inches wide and is covered with writing.

Anyone?

Or maybe just a text from the Bible ???

Ethiopian or Erythrean for sure for iconography and alphabet.
There are really amazing old churches there
