On this day in 2005 UNESCO award the keris the status of Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

Unesco and not Unseco!
Yes, and this award drastically boosted the interest for the keris worldwide (making, books, and trade), but 18 years after, it has significantly reduced... Regards |

I probably first heard it from the Byrds, but over time it has become one of my most used bottled & ready to pour quotes.
