Default I.D SUGGESTIONS PLEASE

Another oddity.

Blade is 12 1/2 " long. Overall length is 23 1/2".
Blade is 5/16 " thick at the back near the hilt. It is a very heavy item at just over a Kg in weight. Not at all comfortable for one-handed use.

Hilt is slightly oval in cross-section.
It appears too elaborate to be just a chopper, but that's what it feels like. Anyone seen one of these before ?
My guess would be somewhere in the Nagaland / Burma area.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

thanks
Royston

A chopper, that's obvious.

My guess is that it is Indonesia or Phillippines. The hilt has some simmilarities with a chopper I placed some time ago.

Here is the link.
