Knife I.D and translation requested.
Anyone got a name for this one ?
What does it say on the blade ? O.A length 15" (38cm) Blade length 9.75" (25 cm) Hilt is bone and horn Scabbard is brass over wood. I am guessing it is N.African All comments welcome Regards Roy |

Hi Roy, you were correct in N Africa, Tunisia to be precise as Kubur said. I think it may have some age say late 19th early 20th C. Unable to verify whether it is early tourist or not nor am I able to provide a translation but whatever it is a nice example of the type, thanks for sharing.
