Default Strange rapier by Klingenthal

I've got that rapier like sword recently. It is marked klingenthal. any thoughts?

Hi Valjhun,

Looks like a 19th century attempt to replicate a renaissance left hand fencing dagger used in conjunction with a rapier. I have seen Spanish renditions of the theme going back to the late 1800s. This may help: http://users.skynet.be/euro-swords/klingenthal.htm

And here you will find the Colaux poinçons (marks) at Klingenthal; you will find the ones from your blade.
