Magnificent piece, and with pattern welded blade no less. It's been mentioned before that some flyssa had such blades and maybe it's actually a common trait? I never thought to check the blade on mine. Interesting that the decorative scheme on this one is somewhat subdued; no scrolls and creepers. When I'll be rich I'll have a room full of these, I'm talking wall to wall |

Pricey, yes, but then how many of these flyssa do you see with laminated steel - this is the only one I have seen so far....

I also didn't think this over priced, laminated blade in fabulous condition, I raved about this piece to my wife and she (unknown to me ) was going to bid for it, but it went above what she thought reasonable.....yes I am a lucky guy But I am going to have to explain to her that her 'reasonable' isn't high enough
