NEWBIE!
Hello Everyone,
WOW, what a site!!! I have had an interest in blades of all kinds since I was young and this site is a kids dream come true. I need to dig-up two of my father's old handmade knives he picked-up somewhere in Africa in the 40's during WWII. He served in the Ivory and Gold Coast's as a Geodetics Officer. Thanks for allowing me in! Ron "Rockerga" North Atlanta, GA metro area. |

WELCOME TO THE FORUM THERE ARE NO SILLY QUESTIONS OR UNIMPORTANT ETHINOGRAPHIC WEAPONS SO FEEL FREE TO POST PICTURES AND ASK QUESTIONS. WE CAN'T GARANTEE WE KNOW ALL THE ANSWERS BUT THIS IS A GOOD PLACE TO LOOK FOR THEM. THE PURPOSE OF THE FORUMS IS TO PUT DOWN WHAT KNOWLEGE WE CURRENTLY HAVE SO IT WILL BE SHARED AND PRESERVED. SO MUCH INFORMATION AND KNOWLEGE HAS BEEN LOST WHEN THOSE WHO HAD IT PASSED ON FROM THIS WORLD. THE FORUMS WOULD NOT BE OF MUCH USE IF THERE WERE NO NEW COLLECTORS TO LEARN FROM IT AND PERHAPS TAKE OVER THE CARE AND COLLECTING OF COLLETIONS AS THEY ARE PASSED FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION.

Welcome aboard Ron. I'm usually not much help, in the ethnographic arena, but I like to watch.
