Default Moro Kris for comments

Would like comments on this. Looks a bit like the one that just closed on eBay, but it is different.

OAL = 23.5"

Blade = 19"

Why Bill, what a silly question, it's gorgeous. 18c, but I'm wondering about the bands - are they copper?

Jose,

I don't know. They look like some kind of copper or perhaps a copper/gold alloy? Could a jeweler tell me? Is there a test kit for gold? I know there is one for silver.

Bill, Those flips are at it again. You've been had. Honestly what you have there is a kris made for the tourist trade. I'll make it easy on you and take it off your hands. I'll even give a little something for compensation. Whatdayasay? PM me.

BTW, gorgeous piece . Love it.

You bet Bill. Any jeweler can test for swassa or copper. If swassa, it will come out to be around 7-9k gold. They can also test for silver. I know because I do these types of testing myself. I would love to know as well.
