Default interesting piece!

Hi
I have several years of this knife.
someone had an idea that could come from what region? and what for (writing) the sign could be on the blade?
I have the knife in Switzerland. the seller knew nothing more.
It is made of a piece, with riveted, black (plastic grips?) no organic material. Aluminum rivets.

The characters look Burmese to me.

Hello Atlantis

that was a good guy with Burma! Unfortunately it can not decipher just exactly as I am not able to identify two characters.
aussiet like the one above the other when two different, could be a name.
Does anyone know the shape of this knife, under Burmese knife I know of quite different forms, this is completely unknown to me!
