Museo Naval (Naval Museum) Madrid, Spain.

These are the trophies of the Cochinchina Campaign and have an excellent clear attribution of 1858-1862

It's my pleasure, Gavin!

I have a great desire to compile a list of museums whose collections contain antique Vietnamese weapons with clear provenance and unequivocal attribution. The first two are of course the Rijksmuseum (Amsterdam, the Netherlands) and the Museo Naval (Madrid, Spain). I would sincerely appreciate if this list is expanded.

Some photos from the museum.
I hope they are of interest.

Thank you Ren Ren.

I have seen the museum posts before in these pages but they did not focus on the Vietnam weapons, but now that I am seeing this I can make them out in the edges of the other photos.
