I like the play on curves with the blade and handle. It is intriguing how we see along with traditional craftsmanship, these more accomplished approaches to decorative design, from areas and people in the world, where there would be little if any formal education and a degree of isolation from the "international community" There is indeed an art decco feel to the handle, reminiscent of design on fast steam trains and buildings from the middle of the decco period. Very nice, looks like it feels great in the hand.
